A programme accredited under the IBF Standards is eligible for funding under the IBF Standards Training Scheme (IBF-STS), subject to all eligibility criteria being met. Candidates are advised to assess the suitability of the programme and its relevance to participants’ business activities or job roles.

Financial Training Scheme (FTS)
A programme recognised under the Financial Training Scheme (FTS) and is eligible for FTS claims is subject to all eligibility criteria being met. This in no way represents an endorsement of the quality of the training provider and programme and participants are advised to assess the suitability of the programme and its relevance to participants’ business activities or job roles.
The FTS is available to eligible entities based on the prevalent funding eligibility, quantum and caps. FTS claims may only be made for recognised programmes with specified validity period. Please refer to www.ibf.org.sg for more information.

Our trainers come from a broad range of backgrounds with many years of experience in various fields of finance. They use their expertise and insights to design and deliver engaging and effective courses that meet the needs and goals of the industry.
Bhavani Prakash
MSc (Financial Economics), PGMD (Finance), SCR®Bhavani Prakash is a highly accomplished trainer and TEDx speaker, having addressed audiences as large as 600 and distinguished listeners including the former Prime Minister of Singapore, Lee Hsien Loong, as well as C-suite members and senior managers. For her pioneering role in advocating sustainability well ahead of times, she was awarded the SONY-IWA Woman of the Year in 2014.
With a background in finance and economics, Bhavani Prakash has been a long-time entrepreneur, consultant and trainer in sustainability, having conducted sessions for a wide range of organizations such as multinational banks and corporations, government departments, Institutes of Higher Learning and non-profits. Her topics include climate change, climate risks and opportunities, sustainable finance, systems-thinking, global sustainability-related regulatory frameworks and trends.
She is currently the Co-Founder of Sustainable Gaia, which provides sustainability reporting and training for organizations. Beyond various ESG metrics, she helps issuers report on climate risks and opportunities and integrates these into Governance, Strategy and Risk-Management. She also assists organizations with mandatory and voluntary disclosures of Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 GHG emissions.
She holds an M.Sc in Financial Economics from University of London, and a PGDM (now renamed as MBA) in Finance from IIM Calcutta India. With an undergraduate honours degree in Commerce from University of Delhi, she also holds several sustainability certifications including ISO 14064 GHG Lead Verifier/Validator by SGS and Sustainability and Climate Risk (SCR ® ) by Global Association of Risk Professionals. (She is currently pursuing her ACLP and ISCA Assurance certifications)
She has written courses such as Corporate Finance for Singapore Institute of Management, ‘Riding the Green Regulatory Wave” and “Integrating Climate and Nature-based Risk into Enterprise Risk Management” for Sustainable Energy Association of Singapore.
On a personal level, she has several years of experience in options and equities trading, wealth management strategies, and volunteers in teaching youth about personal financial planning.
