Keith Ong

Keith Ong is a seasoned financial markets professional and structured products specialist with over a decade of experience spanning private banking, derivatives advisory, and fintech. He currently serves as the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Silver-i, a Singapore-based fintech firm focused on optimising the discovery, pricing, and execution of structured products for wealth managers. His work at the intersection of technology and finance focuses on streamlining pricing logistics and enhancing client engagement infrastructure.

Prior to his move into fintech, Keith was an Investment Advisor at the Bank of Singapore, where he managed an extensive portfolio of over USD 1 billion in assets for Ultra-High-Net-Worth (UHNW) individuals. In this role, he specialised in designing and executing sophisticated cross-asset strategies involving FX, equity options, and structured notes. His mandate included portfolio construction, trade execution, and ongoing risk management across both developed and emerging markets, with a particular focus on the Greater China region.

Earlier in his career, Keith held a series of specialist roles at DBS Bank across the treasury and equities segments. This foundational experience in market mechanics and structured solutions provided him with an end-to-end perspective on the lifecycle of financial products—from initial structuring and pricing to front-line advisory and execution.

As a trainer, Keith is valued for his ability to bridge the gap between complex financial theory and practical client advisory. His teaching is grounded in real-world market scenarios and regulatory suitability, allowing him to break down sophisticated instruments into actionable insights. Keith holds a Bachelor of Science in Banking and Finance from the University of London (London School of Economics).
